This is a True Story About My Cousin Denis A. Who passed away at the age of 39 in 1988
In his younger days as a druggie and a rebel he had a lot of crazy Ideas, But I loved him greatly, He looked like Crockadile DunDee, And Lived on the Colorado river as a Wild man with no money, or resources, nothing but the clothes on his back, When he had any. He used to go hunting with nothing but a knife, He always found something to eat. I have a picture of him with a 70 lbs Beaver he caught and ate. He did allot of fishing.
Back in the late 60'S outside of San Diago Ca. He was involved in the process of making pure Meth. in a illeagal lab. The Chemicals they used very highly poisonous on there own.
One of the chemicals was red Phosphorus. He was young and Dumb and had his heart on making a pyle of money. Well the FBI caught Him and threw him in Prison. Where he served 7 or so years, When he got out. he moved to the river and lived off the land staying out of trouble. 20 years later he became deathly Sick, The Doctors said the red Phosphorus had gone right through his skin into his blood stream, Killing his whole immune system and had an a adverse affect on his Kidney's. He lived for two more years then passed on.
Big mistake, even though he changed his lifestyle his past came back on him, and killed him Dead 22 years later. His Ashes were scattered over the Colorado river.
Everyone that Knew Him Loved him. He always cleaned up the river after the City folks would trash it on the weekends. He was a good man respected by all who knew him. I wish He was still here, He was allot of fun to be around. He could make anyone laugh until they had gut cramps. I told him about Jesus and I sure hope he is in Heaven. The wages of Sin is Death..RIP Dennis.
We all make mistakes, some more deadly than others, the outcome is always the same, Grief and Sorrow. and Death or injury. Are your mistakes covered by Jesus ? Because it is almost the end and death is on a fast trak.
