Day one - Dictator! That's what he wants to be, and they seem to love him for his bold and abrasive attitude, and the way he is seeking retribution from the indictments for all the he has done in the name of the MAGA supporters. That seems to be how they feel about him.As long as Democratic policies are enacted, I'm not very concerned about the behavior of the figurehead. Isn't that how you feel about Trump?
LOLThat's what the Predient is: head of state; a figurehead. It's in the Constitution. He is also the head of the Executive branch of government, but that is a duty he performs privately.

Yes, that is a part of his constitutional duty.LOL
You really do believe that the POTUS should be a figurehead.
But not as much as the Congress. As the head of the executive branch of government, the POTUS has more authority than any signal other person in the Federal Government.
Only during a time of declared war.POTUS is also the Commander in Chief.
That is just one of his duties. Haven't you ever actually read the Constitution? But, no worries, he's just a figurehead. lol
Oh my! A scandal!
A 20 second video with absolutely no context to understand what is happening. Unbelievable.
Nothing here folks.
Putin for roll model. It makes no sense that anyone would still support him. And yet, I guess he provides a sense of power and security for some. Such leaders can be very popular even as they demand unreasonable loyalty.Day one - Dictator! I'm sure they did, if they understood their duties correctly. The POTUS is always the Commander in Chief, not just during time of war.
And yes, I have read US Constitution. I wonder if Obama, Clinton, or Carter believed that the POTUS is a figurehead.
I'm sure he takes their advice. As Head of State he only has symbolic power. His real power lies in being head of the Executive Branch, but even that power is subordinate to Congress. If the POTUS is a figurehead, then does that mean that he has to do what he is told to do by his staff, or by others in the Administration?
Biden has mentioned several times things like saying he was going to get in trouble for taking questions and asking if he can take questions. It’s not a one offNow that this was written, I guess the honest question below may not have been an honest question after all....
Like I said, there was not context to the poor quality video which lasted a few seconds. I am glad that the rightists don't care that poorly filmed out of context video is used as evidence that Biden is being coerced into obeying his handlers. The rightists have tried the feeble Biden, the out of touch Biden, the criminal Biden, the sexual molester Biden and the deteriorating brain Biden which did not stick, so they have moved on to the submissive and coerced Biden.
Congress can remove the President from office, but the President cannot disolve Congress. Who do you think that gives ultimate authority to?The USA Constitution has 3 equal branches of Federal power.
The president is the head of the executive branch. The POTUS is not merely the head of state, in a figurehead type way. It has always been established for more than 225 plus years that the POTUS is the Commander in Chief, he has the most authority of any single person in the Federal government. Thankfully, the American founding fathers wrote and established a constitutional government with 3 co-equal branches of authority and responsibility.
Yeah. It didn’t work with Clinton or TrumpCongress can remove the President from office, but the President cannot disolve Congress. Who do you think that gives ultimate authority to?
According to the US Constitution, our republic does not give ultimate authority to any of the branches of government. The three branches of the Federal Government are supposed to all be co-equal with one another.Congress can remove the President from office, but the President cannot disolve Congress. Who do you think that gives ultimate authority to?
Yup. But I’m not too surprised about all the other responses.I hope that you are being sarcastic.
It’s not a very big deal. If I recall the Trump administration went almost an entire year without a single press conference with his press secretary appearing on opinion shows on Fox that were generally very favorable to the president and his administration.I am really shocked that liberals want their president to have to ask his/her staff for permission to speak to reporters.
Yup. But I’m not too surprised about all the other responses.
