Psalms 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee
[Satan in promoting the ways which are NOT Love does great service before God [as His covering cherub at His throne] in allowing us to see Love in contrast to the many other ways [in time] that constitute unlovingness/evil/sin as distinct , mankind simply exists to FIND OUT that the many alternatives portrayed by Satan in this world simply lead nowhere whereas Love leads us the way of the depths of our hearts back to God [although almost all will die first , excepting only those of the 144,000 of Israel of Rev 7:3-8 who have not already died by the time of the real Christ's return]
A couple of major items about your matter from the bible ...
1). Even Michael woud not ACCUSE Satan ... thus he lEAVES THIS to God [eventually] -what sense sinful men trying to accuse Satan when what he does is just SUGGEST things to men, it is men who mostly do the sinning as such :-
Jud 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
Jud 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Jud 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Jud 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
2). The sin for which Satan is finally convicted by God is none less than claimed to BE God because Satan has persuaded almost all mankind to worship him as a Christ figure ['antichristos' in Greek, the one 'inplace of Christ] ,but when Satan finally goes to the temple in Jerusalem to proclaim himself God, his blaspemy triggers the return of Christ and Satan [who like Christ has manifested as a man, the biblical "man of sin", is slain by 'strangers' [Ezekiel 28:7] for his sin [wages of sin is death] :-
Isa 14:10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
Isa 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
Eze 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
Eze 28:10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
