Hey guy my friends call me Fred

I came to this forum because my friend recommended it to me. I have been reading the bible and have discovered a few odd passages and I would really appreciate it if someone could clarify it.

I have been Christian since about I was 10 years old. I go to a bible study once a week ,however, i only go to Church twice a year. I didn't really like going as a kid .
