This is what our Father wanted to say to His Son Jesus. He did not say "You are God" or "You are so great and powerful and successful." He cares first about how He loves His own Son Jesus, and how pleasing Jesus is to our Father.

And Jesus has claimed in prayer, how "You" "have loved them as You have loved Me," in His prayer in John 17:23.

So, Jesus wants us to be loved like our Father loves Jesus ! ! !

And, as much as we become like Jesus, we experience and enjoy this affection with our Father >

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

And Jesus in us more and more makes us like Him so we are pleasing to our Father the way He is >

"My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you," (Galatians 4:19)

"So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be

swift to hear,

slow to speak,

slow to wrath;

for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God." (James 1:19-20)
