The book of Job is a HUGELY rich study. He was also a dear man of God, and refused to curse God against unbelievable odds.....

Jabez was another dear man of God. He BELIEVED in God against all odds. Strangely enough, he is the only one mentioned by name in his entire family. The rest faded into obscurity. He was also very wise, because He knew Who to go to for help. And because of that God honored his request and granted it quick as you can blink.

The Minor Prophets have a lot of interesting passages, don't they? Blessings.

Yeah, i can't get it straight about minor and major prophets, but yes there is MUCH to delve into...like Hosea....i'm not familiar with him at all, but the more i read, the more riveting it gets.....

He was a dear man of God to do as God told him, because it would just sound so strange.....also Joseph was a dear dear man of God...can you imagine, especially in that day and time, being told your "betrothed" was already with child.....ok, THAT'S major enough, but that it's not HIS?

The norm would've been to stone Mary. Look at what he did.....

what a precious man of God he was, and sooooo under-appreciated....

i still can't get it straight calling them poetry...it just doesn't click for some reason...but yes, Psalms has been an anchor for me too.....

That's a beautiful verse and it's is sooo descriptive.....oh, maybe that's why they're called poetry books/verses....

David has always been very dear to my heart...he expresses depths that only someone who has suffered through much sorrow and grief could share....

That verse is really almost a prayer....no wonder God called David a man after His own heart and the apple of His eye....
