Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity."

So true, so true. There is a verse for everyone. My brother was hit by a hammer about 10 times by his wife in his sleep. 3 weeks later he was taken to paradise. A brother is born for adversity. I would not even know the peace that passes all understanding if it were not for this sacrifice. I put alot of prayer into the soil at that time in my life. Prayer on my face in the living room in words I never learned. I prayed for restoration and to raise him up. Some are just not ready for the master's use and he had to be taken home. He is fully restored and will be raised in the resurrection. Praise Jesus.

God Is Love

My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can't know him if you don't love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God.

Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.

Be very sure now, you who have been trained to a self-sufficient maturity, that you enter into a generous common life with those who have trained you, sharing all the good things that you have and experience.
