I am hoping someone here might be able to help me. I am looking for a particular study bible that I remember my parents having back in the 1980's. The reason I want to find it now is that it had a wonderful history timeline at the back that I have never been able to track down anywhere else.
Here's what the timeline looked like: It had a vertical line for each major nation (Babylon, Egypt, Israel, Hittites, Greece, Rome, etc.) The lines got bigger or smaller depending on the power of the nation. I remember the colors. Egypt was green, Greece was pink, and Rome was purple. It went on for several pages.
I think it might have been an RSV bible but I'm not sure. The bible was a bit old at the time so I'm guessing the publication date was in the 1970's or earlier (60's or 50's even?)
If anyone knows which study bible contains this timeline, I would be so happy!
