  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This course is free; though I don't know if it would be for the US. So far I've found it a good study geared to different age groups. They have questions that make you think, whereas some of the ones on the Internet I've seen were just multiple choice questions where anyone could guess the answers.

I found some Bible studies on Charles Stanley's In Touch website......I printed some off, and have done one....it was "okay" did not go as deep as I would have liked it to, but I think they are suppose to compliment other material of his... So, I need to look more into it. I'm going to check out the suggestions you all have mentioned. BIG THANKS

I can tell you what we do in my house...

We use the catechisms produced by Richard Cecil and William Gadsby and have recently started to use "The Baptist Catechism" by Benjamin Keach. These Baptist works help provide structure for regular study. We also use the 1689 Confession along with the Gospel Standard Articles of Faith, but we've been moving away from the Gospel Standards and focusing on the 1689 of late. The Exposition of the 1689 written by Sam Waldron has been helpful, and I just found an exposition of "The Baptist Catechism" by Beddome that we are considering purchasing.

The catechisms and confessions are free online, all I did was print them off and we keep them in a binder.
