  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yeah, they're both great...colossians is pretty awesome how it describes who Jesus is, and it's generally great...James is solid, good pointers and general amazingnes...

other than those two - for Bible Study I think Hebrews is solid. It really explains things in a solid way, like how u are saved, what actually goes on...like Jesus being our High Priest etc, that really helped me to get an understanding about Jesus Blood. But yeah, colossians and James are both excellent and both quite short...go for both!! ;)

DRAFT:

Ok, I did some brainstorming and this is what I came up with. Please let me know your thoughts on this. I'll start next Monday if there isn't any objections or changes that need to be made to the study plan. Thanks and blessings.

Book Chosen: Colossians

Purpose: To Worship God and Learn of His Purpose
For Our Lives: Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

Goal: Hebrews 12:3-7 3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself,
so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. 4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood
in your striving against sin; 5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
"MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN YOU
ARE REPROVED BY HIM; 6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES,
AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES."
