Bible study together any suggestions?

My girlfriend and me are both looking to make a more solid God commitment in terms of our relationship. We are both solid christians in our own respect, and we've prayed together on occasion, but we felt we needed to make some more regular God time together, so I'm looking for suggestions on books that we can go through, not necessarily straight bible, but a bible study kind of book, doesn't have to be relationship related. Anyways, yeah I am just looking for a bible study book, or something to do with my girlfriend. I would totally love any advice given, I'm sure others will appreciate the knowledge too. Thanks!

maybe can try to get a student bible.... i love to read it because student's bible do help me alots....in market, there is a lots of bible like, bible for men, bible for women, bible for kids, bible for teenage and so one.... i love all this type of bible because it more focus on specific people.

Actually me and my girlfriend have started reading the bible together just recently. We are reading Matthew. It is an easy book to understand, and we have only made it to chapter 15 and I have realized just how much that book applies to me and my life. Reading the Word together is a great way to go grow closer to God.

NOt sure what youre looking for but "Halleys Bible Handbook" is a wonderful study aid.

TJ - this might not suit you two but how about going through 1 Cor 13, through each of the 'love is' characteristics, per week?

eg - 'love is patient' ... ask each other how you've been failing, how you could be more patient, what it MEANS to be patient with each other... etc?

TJ -- There is a couples devotional that my boyfriend and I picked up just last Sunday at church. It's called Night Light by Dr. James and Shirley Dobson. It is SO good. I HIGHLY recommend you getting it!!! It asks very intimate questions that you and your girlfriend can discuss, and it brings about AMAZING conversation! I hope you get it -- if you do, let me know how y'all like it!!!
