howdy all, this is my first time reading the bible and i have some questions
In 2 Samuel 7:16 God tells the prophet Nathan to tell David "Your house and your kingdom shall be made forever before me; your throne shall be established forever."
How is this covenant with the house of David related to God's covenant with Abraham amd the later covenant at Mt.Sinai with Moses and the Hebrew people?
Why does God keep making covenants with the Hebrews, and do they change over time?
What is the significance of the fact that the royal family of David died out, and that there ceased to be an independant kingdom of Israel in the sixth century B.C?
