Bible Errancy?

You realize that when someone interprets the Bible alone, that interpretation has to be restrained in some way, or, as you said it, "we are all doomed." So you invented a particular narrow idea of how the Bible is inspired and how it is to be interpreted so as to make it seem posible for each individual to read, understand, and interpret it with no help from anyone else.

True enough...

God gives the understanding... We must learn be patient and accept the fact that God may not want us to know "everything" right this moment...

Dan 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.​

Paul, you believe the Bible is a book that can and should be interpreted by each individual for himself/herself. This is the traditional Baptist position.

But that's an illusion. There is not a Baptist who reads the story of the creation and concludes that according to that story there is no way to hold on to a belief that humans only become members of the family of God when they are converted. There is not a Baptist who reads the story of the fall along with Paul's commentary on it and concludes that it it impossible to hold on to the belief that the human race rebelled against God. Yes, Protestants read the Bible for themselves but they still are beholden to the church's interpretation. It's all an illusion.
