What about that bit? He was getting the earth to bring them forth, not his voice!
Are you following the conversation?
When God took one of Adam's ribs and made Eve, they both then had 12.
Thus both male and female have 12.
Another Genesis pwning of evolution, I might add.
(I can't remember the name of that theory that says if you cut a mouse's tail off, his offspring will be tailess.)

That's it -- thank you! It's Lamarckian evolution, the idea that changes (such as the cut off tail being passed on to offspring).
Along with macroevolution.... it's completely wrong.
Um ... I believe the rib was a one-time thing here. The idea that you would use it to support the Bible is laughable.

Answer this please. Do you believe in evolution because thats what the Bible teaches or because it is what you can observe. Or...?
944You just pwnd yourself, I'm afraid.... again.
If both Adam and Eve had 12 ribs each at the same time, then Adam would have previously had 13 ribs. This would mean it should be genetically encoded in us to have 13 ribs or 12 ribs depending on whether each individual has the recessive or dominant gene. Problem is, we're all genetically coded to have the same number of ribs.
Of course you're also overlooking that we have 12 pairs of ribs. That's 24, with 12 on each side. Adam would have to have wound up with 23 ribs and Eve with 24 in the end. Otherwise, Adam would be genetically predisposed to have 25 ribs... which also doesn't appear in the human genome.
Evolution cannot be observed (its not science), nor is it taught in the Bible. So it makes you wonder why people choose to believe in it, i've never worked it out.
The tripartite man is a bit too Greek philosophy for me, though they do describes different aspects of what it is to be human, so lets run with them for now.Do you believe we are body, soul and spirit? if not, let's just end this conversation right here, eh?
I'll even keep quiet, like I did with gaara, if you claim a victory.
We need to get off this merry-go-round.
A fascination with church history and the early missionary movements like the Celtic Church. But the most amazing work of God was through the Assyrian church, known in the West as the Nestorians, who spread the gospel down into India and across the Silk Road among the Turkic and Mongol peoples and into China.Personal question. Why did you choose the name Assyrian?
Yes, the Bible does speak of cars, in the Edenic mother tongue. All words are "Hebrew" words, from Edenic, confounded at Babel.Oh, and Nathan, save the "Well, the Bible doesn't speak of cars either" routine
CARS in Eden ?! - Isaac Mozeson
Rachel is riding a כר KahR in Genesis, the riding compartment or CAR of her camel.
Read on:
CAR KHaR Khaf-Resh
KHAR_______כר_______[K-R]
ROOTS: 1) Whether or not it's running, CAR is supposed to derive from Latin currere (to run), from the IE “root” kers (to run).
The CAR of an elevator or an air balloon doesn't run any[bless and do not curse]where, but is the name of the riding compartment or cab. It is therefore quite possible that words like CAR, CHARIOT and CARGO originate from an ancient term for the CARGO or passenger area of a vehicle.
Not to put the CART before the horse, camel riding and lading must have preceded even the crudest of CARRIAGES. Thus כר KHaR or KAR ("saddle pillow," "furniture") seems a good etymon for CAR.
The poor translations of this term in Genesis 31:34 have been updated. We can now picture Rachel stashing her CARGO of stolen idols in a palanquin, a saddle com[bless and do not curse]partment with awnings and curtains set atop her camel. A similar rriding compartment was made for riding elephants.
2) CAR words also deserve more moving etymons.
Double כר KHaR to get כרכרה KiRKaRaHA (carriage), translated "dromedary" in Isaiah 66:20. The dromedary is the fastest of camels, not unlike a COURSING COURSER (fast horse) that a COURIER might ride.
. K-R running words include כרר KaRahR (to move round, to turn in a circle, כרכר KiRKeR (to turn about – II Samuel 6:14) and . כרע KaR[A]h ( knee, leg – Leviticus 1:13
BRANCHES: The IE “root” kers (to run) includes CHARGE, CORRIDOR, COURSE, CURSIVE, CONCOURSE, CONCUR, DISCOURSE, EXCURSION, HUS[bless and do not curse]SAR, INTERCOURSE, OCCUR, INCUR, PRECURSOR, RE[bless and do not curse]CUR, SUCCOR, CAR, CAREER, CARGO, CARICATURE, CARRY, CHARGE, CHARIOT (see “CHARIOT”, CARPENTER, and more.
Pumping the כרע KeR[A] (knee – Exodus 12:9) is running. Guttural-liquid-guttural knees include Eskimo sirkrok and Hawaaian koli. See the second approach at “CORRIDOR.”
For other running etymons, חרוץ KHaROOTS ("bestir" in 1I Samuel 5:24) is a possibility. It is related to מהר MAHaiR (hurry – see “HURRY”.
The wheel, גלגלGaLGaL, and cart, עגלה [A]GaLaH (wagon in Numbers7:3), are merely Grimm's Law changes away from our CAR.
KR wheel-spinning etymons include: סחר $aK[H]aR (to go around, circu[bless and do not curse]late, reel), כרךKoRaKH (to roll), כרכור KeeRKOOR (whirl, circle) and כרכרKeeRKaR (top, distaff, spindle). The Edenic Gimel-Lamed wheel powers many IE wheels, like the Ukranian kolo.
Cognates of CAR not mentioned above include CAREER, CARICATURE, CARIOLE, CARRY, CORRIDOR, COURIER, COURSE, CURRENT, DISCOURSE, EXCURSION, HUSSAR, INCUR, INTERCOURSE, OCCUR (see “OCCUR”, PRECURSOR, RECOURSE, RECUR and SUCCOR (see “SUCCOR” .
קרוןQaROAN is now the word for a wagon, street car or railroad car. Another Aramaic and Hebrew term to consider is גרגר GaRaR (to pull). גררהGiRaRaH is a snow CARRIAGE or sleigh. For the riding compartment seat, the CHAIR, our Khaf-Resh etymon does fine – see “CHAISE.”
See "ACCELERATE," "CYCLE" "HURRY" and "OCCUR".

I do beleive in evolution. Just because something was not in the bible does not mean it does not exist.
Nathan, is that you???
If you guys think about it, it should be obvious that many things are not in the bible.
I do beleive in evolution. Just because something was not in the bible does not mean it does not exist. If you guys think about it, it should be obvious that many things are not in the bible. If god told us that all of us used to be monkeys, the people of the time would freak out. The bible does say we would not be able to recognize adam and eve. That can be very varied by the way you beleive it. It could mean they were different in spirit and that made them seem different. Or it could quite literelry(bad spelling leave me alone lol) mean that they were different in appearence. I beleive with god everything was and is on a need to know basis thats why in the bible some parts are so vague. Just because of how god would scare the world and effect peoples actions in a way to where we would not be free but shackles by the bonds of infinite knowledge.
Its not what's not in the Bible, It's what is in the Bible!
The opposite can be said. Have you ever seen Jesus? No you have not. Yet you believe in him. Well how can you if you cant observe him, touch him, ect... in this present world? You must believe what the Bible says about him and who the Bible says He is and believe by Faith.
With that said, evolution is not in the Bible and if Creation was not in the Bible, you would have a good argument but, Direct Creation is in the Bible. God spoke and it was. God saw what he spoke and it was so and good.
