So I have a job where there's plenty of down time and it's okay to do some personal stuff within reason.
Half the time, I get hooked on reading stuff that is the "dessert" of the entertainment world. Fun and easy to get carried away, but not really a wholesome use of my day. Like ghost stories, hilarious fails listed on buzzfeed, or browsing pinterest ideas. They aren't super bad, but there are better things to do with my time.
If you're asking why I don't spend it studying the bible, it's because 1) I do have to stop and help customers and it's hard to concentrate and 2) I don't always want to work my brain that hard.. and if I spent all day either working or studying I'd get burnt out fast.
What I wish is that there was a website like buzzfeed, but with all bible and Christian stuff, both fun and informative.
We have CF and that's people writing out their prayers or problems or ideas and other people responding, which is good, but I'm talking about more of an online magazine type thing. There's some reading, some pretty stuff, some ideas, etc...
Does that exist somewhere?
