  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Oh I don't believe this. A self-professed "Bible-believing" Christian emailed me and was witnessing to me about being Roman Catholic and the typical misunderstood evangelical thoughts regarding the Faith. It was kinda funny, as I could tell it was copy and paste type arguments - the classics about the Apocrypha, Mary, Eucharist and the Pope.

Well, I typed up about 2 pages to send to him and when I went to find his address, I accidently deleted his address in the process!

Ironic too, because I was telling my girlfriend who was patiently waiting for me that I needed (wanted) to write this to him. Turns out that God had something else in mind, and that was for me to realize that I do things at the worst times, which is what she was telling me as well. Then I deleted his address (after 20 mintues of writing) and felt that God and my girl were ganging up on me...showed me.

Anyway, whatrya gonna do? Thought I would vent my now humbled frustration.

Happens occasionally. I'm never sure who doesn't want me to finish writing something, though. :)

I do know that it seems more common when I'm angry - but then, confirmation bias says I'll remember it more when I'm frustrated than I will when I'm calm and it's no big deal.
