Bible authority

This is something I thought of as a way to demonstrait the authority of the bible. I will put it in the form of a conversation.

Believer: Do you believe in what the bible sayes?

non believer: No, it is a book writen by men. So it isn't true.

Believer: Well if I wrote down "At domino's pizza you have to make a pizza in 45 seconds to qualify as a level 2 assistant manager" Would you believe that?

non believer: Yes

Believer: Why would you believe what I wrote and not what is writen in the bible?

non believer: Because you worked at domino's. And I can check your story out.

Believer: Those who wrote the bible were there too when all the things they wrote about were going on. You can check their stories out too.

non believer: But people get things wrong.

Believer: So it must be inspired by God to have so MANY PEOPLE OVER SO MUCH TIME write things that coraspond with each other perfectly.

Of course it still depends on the persons willingness to accept this. Some people you can give all the evidence in the world to that man flies in planes now and if they didnt want to believe it they wouldnt.

We should not just rely on faith
Ok, so why do people work for 2 weeks with no pay?
because they will get paid in 2 weeks
So you work and toil, sweat and worry...rise up early and commit eight to ten hours on the faith that your employer will pay you? In fact you base your housing, food and clothing on this faith? Yes?
Uh, I would not call it faith, but I guess if that is what you want to call it.
And this faith is in a boss who might lie or cheat you, right? There are many examples in the law books, no?
Ok...so what is your point.
Why do you find it easier to have faith in a human being who might lie to you, than in the Lord who never lies?
