  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

BEWARE!!! This is kinda bad.But it is funny. If you Like FMA... (4)

I'm kinda reading through this e-book (Mathilda by Mary Shelley) while I wait for the real-book version to arrive at Borders (I must buy it, it's from Marry Shelley, and I'm convinced we're kinda soul twins, even though, yeah, our lives aren't really very similar, and we think different and - uh, I really don't understand why we're soul twins, but we are). Anyway, it's the grossest thing I ever read. Don't read it. Read Frankenstein instead. Please. Just read Frankenstein instead. My parents are so never finding out what this book is about, even after I buy it. It's just. Eww. Darn my wanting to read everything by Mary Shelley. Darn it all to bookworm hell.
So which e book were you reading?

NOAG, you read far too many books. How are you ever going to get ahead in life if you spend all your time reading? What you need to do is spend your time watching mindless cartoons all day (and I mean ALL day). I fear for your future, NOAG, I really do.

B-but... I got more than $100's worth of unread books just waiting to be read! And I simply must read them all before the 7th Harry Potter book come out! And I wanna read the rest of Mary Shelley's novels too! And all of Charlotte Bronte's book, as well as the second one Anna Bronte wrote because they say it's like a mix of Wuthering Heights (don't really care about it), by her sister Emily, and Jane Eyre (LOVE it), by her other sister, Charlotte Bronte. And then I wanna see what all the hype was about with Lord Byron (the Bronte's read it, you know) and read at least one of his poems. Then I really should stop my obsession with British literature for a bit and read more Latin American literature, so I wanna buy everything written by Ernesto Sábato, since he is the author of El túnel, then go straight to Puerto Rican literature and read everything by Magali García Ramis and then maybe Ana Lydia Vega, Abelardo Díaz Alfaro and José Luis González. Then I should probably finish reading the Chronicles of Narnia, since I've been "reading" that for more than a year now. I should probably pay more attention to my Edgar Allan Poe book too, and my biography books on Che Guevara and Pedro Albizu Campos. Then by that time I'm guessing I'd have started uni, too, and I wanna join at least one student's group there, and since I was thinking of joining AJI (PRican independentist book), and I'd really like Puerto Rico to be socialist one day, I should read up on that (socialism), then find out more about democratic socialism and communism so that if I say I'd like it if Puerto Rico stayed democratic, it wouldn't be a choice made out of ignorance and lack of study on other political systems. And then it's back to reading for leisure for me, except for when I have to read something for uni (college). And I don't know what I'll read then, but I just have to finish my list of books to read before college gets too hard! :(

(I really do have a problem, don't I?)

So this little Siamese cat just came to our house, It has an owner, but it looks like it's lost and had gotten itself in a bit of a fight some days ago. It's really cute. :)

I thought it was really sweet when it licked me, but then it bit me (probably thinking I was food).

Now it keeps playing with my hair and trying to touch my face, or looking at my typing hand all funny like it's about to pounce on it.

And when it falls asleep on me, I can't move my legs at all.

To make matters worse, I can't leave it outside because I fear it might be lost and get into another fight with a dog or something, but I can't leave it in our garage because Gata has her kittens there.

Looks like the little guy will have to sleep with me. :sigh: My mom will probably hate the idea since she doesn't like animals to be inside the house, but what else can I do?

St. Francis of Assisi, I hope you'll pray for me. T_T

My love for animals will obviously be the death of me.

o.o Isn't is supposed to be the opposite?

Anyways, I'll consider communism after I read the Communist Manifiesto (sp?) by Karl Marx, since I really don't know enough about communism to...

Um. I keep forgetting the government has access to this website.

I am not a terrorist!!!
