CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Unless it's poured warm, you don't really need ice in a drink unless you're drinking it too slow, and then it becomes watered down.

Yes, I know. The whenever I got an iced latte from Dunkin' Donuts I always ask them to add 'very little ice' to it.

I really like coke and iced tea but I always go for water for obvious reasons. With that, it is my conscious decision NOT to have coke and iced tea as part of my food list. Only during during parties or hanging out with friends, I will take a glass of coke or iced tea.

The why of no ice because of having worked in the food service industry is the industry's dirty little secret.... mold.
Ice machines have to be cleaned all the time to prevent/remove mold from them... knowing those machines are a breeding ground for mold, well it makes one not want to drink ice while at a restaurant, and then having been in that job for a while(almost every day for 6 months - 5 hours a day) I learned to just drink warm tea.
