Some things in Christianity don't exactly make sense to me, but a lot of things have been happening to me to make me think they're signs and no longer do I think they're just coincidences. I'd have to put more effort into saying they're coincidences than into saying they're signs.

But still, it doesn't make sense to me, I mean unless you can pick and choose what to believe in from the Bible then it'd make sense to me. I know a lot of Christians prefer the metaphorical thing, and I'm considering it for some things, but it doesn't help with all of it. Please help.

Listen, I know its sometimes hard to believe in something you can't see. But that's why you just have to discover it on your own. Christians just like myself seek truth from others and its good to have other's own opinions and knowledge, but the only way we can really understand is with our own mind. You have to seek it. Just try it out. Seek God, research whatever's bothering you. Other resources and people will have answers and theories, and maybe one will just click in your head in why its bothering you and then it will just all make sense. That's how God works. He will lead your course without you even knowing it, leading you on until you find your answer. And this is why most people don't believe, and think its all just coincidence, but there's no such thing as chance. Haven't you noticed? That's why so many people just open up the Bible, because God will just lead you to that particular answer that you're craving to have. When I question and doubt or have some theory in my head, I usually keep looking and turning pages and finding key words and looking some more, until eventually there's a page that I flip to or there's a paragraph I see, and I read it. My answer is there, plain and simple. It's like God lead me there. And believe this: there are no coincidences in life. Everything happens for a reason. Listen, knock and the door will be opened, seek and you will find. That's all you need to understand.

What doesn't make sense to you, and why do you say that you need to pick and choose what you believe from the Bible in order for them to make sense?

Hi Sum of Awe, I agree with Sketcher, give us an example or two of what you're talking about so we can help.

Thanks!
