I hand you an apple. I tell you I created this apple ex nihilo. What line of reasoning would you use to believe me or not? Should you believe me?

I hand you an apple. I tell you I created this apple ex nihilo. What line of reasoning would you use to believe me or not?
Should you believe me?
So, would you say the propability that the apple was created ex nihilo was equal to the probablity it was not? Does this simply come down to a personal preference concerning what one wants to believe? My line of reasoning: did the amount of mass/energy in the universe rise accordingly?
If I don't have access to that information, then I would either accept it or reject it -- on faith.
It's not possible to come up with a reason to believe you unless you are God. Are you God? Then prove it.I hand you an apple. I tell you I created this apple ex nihilo. What line of reasoning would you use to believe me or not? Should you believe me?
Nope. I'm saying only God can create such an apple. So, would you say the propability that the apple was created ex nihilo was equal to the probablity it was not?
Nope. It comes down to God proving He created the apple. This way I cannot help but to believe He did.Does this simply come down to a personal preference concerning what one wants to believe?

Not really -- you only said you did it.
The apple was transferred from your hand to mine; it did not appear out of nowhere into mine.
It is God who shows the proof. He showed me. If He didn't show you then He obviously have a reason. Maybe He hasn't gotten around to you yet. Or maybe He showed you but you were not paying attention.Show us the proof then.
