  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Eureka (it's on Sci-Fi channel)

Dr. Who

Seinfeld

Quantum Leap was very good...always a good story-line

Scrubs....it's so funny that they can say things that people normally are afraid to say in RL.

I know there will be more I think of after I hit the reply button...:)

And some children's shows: Teen Titans, The Avatar, Jackie Chan Show, Foster's home for Imaginary Friends, Jimmy Neutron. (my kids got me hooked on these shows)

Props for Heroes!
I'd also like to vote for The Office (The American version, sorry to all the Brits!)

OK, so, Lost. There are a group of people that get lost on an island, and they are trying to get off. :D

Any more than that, it would be easier to just watch the show. There are so many twists each week...it can be pretty confusing.

Dude! Have you watched the British version? I swear, it's *so* much better. Way, way more uncomfortable :D

Is Lost still going on? Did they ever get off the island?

Ooh, also, Monk :p

M*A*S*H

The Mary Tyler Moore Show

(and I'm not a sit-com fan, but the first 3 are really no-brainers)

Gunsmoke

Bonanza

Hill Street Blues

Nope, they're still on the island. The Season 4 premier is not until February 2008. :(

I don't know, I'm not a big British humor person (Sorry again to all the Brits out there!) it all seems kinda dry to me.
Plus Steve Carrell makes such a great Michael Scott!

The British version is very uncomfortable (which I love), but you have to be into that sort of thing (see also Curb Your Enthusiasm).

The American version is also very good because it has more of a heart, IMHO. The employees are protective of Michael, because deep down, they like him. David Brent has no redeemable qualities. BUT, that being said, the British version is fantastic.

The only way to watch Lost is the boxed set of the whole season, that's why I watch it one season behind, because man, you miss an episode? you are then one of the Lost! :sigh:

The Office(UK) is probably the funniest TV show out there. I was skepticle, but it blows the US version out of the water.

Scrubs is really good, it's kind of sad this is the last season.

2 and a half men is also really sweet, though I don't care for Charlie Sheen too much.
