Best Gamecube Games w/o blood and guts

We recently got a game cube and the whole family really likes to play games together. My little girls get scared easily, though, and they don't like the games with guns or shooting (good for them ). So can you guys tell me your favorite 'family' type games? I'm making a Christmas list here Thanks

Animal Crossing is a nice little game that's alot like harvest moon. Pretty fun too.

Mario Party 4 should be a winner. I think there might even be a number 5 in that series in time to christmas.. I'd also add Super Mario Sunshine, although this is only a singleplayer game, but they will probably enjoy it...

Yes, I would highly recommend Animal Crossing. Fun for all ages really, I even got into it for quite some time.

*edit* just thought I would add that AC is single player - up to 4 characters can be made, but each plays alone in the world of animals.

Ok, just decided to ask my kids their opinion on their favorite multiplayer game. They answered in unison: Kirby Air Ride, hee hee. That one 4 people can play at a time.

Mario Golf is kinda fun. A little complicated, but fun.

Super smash bros melee. Although you get smashed around a lot, but at least there's no blood. I'm suprised there even is blood and guts on Gamecube.

I'm not, and quite frankly, there isn't nearly enough.

As far as some great family fun games, try Harvest Moon or Super Smash Brothers. Mario Sunshine may look all happy and gay, but it becomes a real pain later due to nearly impossible obstacles and frusteration.

If you're looking at entirely family-oriented games, you would want to stick with the Mario range...
At the top of the list comes Mario Kart Double Dash... the best multiplayer game on the GC imo. Next would be probably Smash Bros Melee, followed by Mario Golf and Party. If you want quality, stick with the Nintendo games. If you want variation, go for the other 3rd-party non-Nintendo games.
Sunshine is a classic single-player... but that's what it is really, a single player. Nintendo have done their old trick again and left out multi in their platform game. Something to hope for in Mario 128.

But anyways, to answer your question... A nice game would be somehting like Mario Sunshine, Zelda: The Wind Waker, Luigi's Mansion,

Other darker-type games without blood and guts, would be Splinter Cell (language), Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.....
It's hard because there are so many...
