CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Old: SNES hands-down.
New:If XBox had more RPGs and could get the developers to utilize its hardware more effectively for cross-platform games, it would win. But unfortunately that's not true. So the PS2 wins instead.

Yes, SNES is defanatly the best old school console. As for the new ones, Gamecube is the best because of Metroid ( whoa!) and Zelda. Two best games ever. Plus Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is coming.

I have a gamecube, and I have never played Metroid Prime... Everyone I've talked to says it's really good, maybe I'll have to buy it.

@dracil, people dont want a xbox for multi platform games, they want it for halo and dues ex, rtcw, morrowind, XBOX LIVE, the list goes on and on...like poeple who own the game cube, they have it for the games like zelda, mario, rouge leader, ect, the excusives. same thing with the ps2.
and most the time the games that are on all 3 are best on xbox, or ps2, but mostly xbox.

Hm. So should you buy the Xbox for graphics? NO WAY! The true game console is the GameCube, with exsculsives like Resident Evil, Metroid, Zelda, and now, Sonic and all that goes with it. Xbox has nothing on GameCube. If I felt I needed and wanted to play mindless online shooters I would probably stop gaming. If I want to do somthing like that I will just go play paintball with my friends. Of course... right now it is 1 degree F outside, but that's beside the point.
Alot of people say if your a hardcore gamer you have an Xbox. Say whaaa? Hardcore gamers have top of the line PCs with gigs of ram and T1 connections. Console gamers are amatuers.
If I wanted Xbox gameplay I would go to staples with 250 dollars, max out my ram for probably 100 bucks and a top of the line video card for my PC and two dual-shock game pads with USB port connections My Pc has front-mounted USB ports... Xbox games are released for PC so often it's freaky.
