Hi everyone!! What is your favorite biblical movies? It can be a documentary, cinema movies, etc... I like "Jesus" that were produced back in 1979 and "10 Commandment" back in the early days (around 60's??) I also like Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ". I hope there will be more to be released someday. What is your favorite? God bless!!

Since many of you like "The Passion of the Christ", do you think that Mel Gibson will bring us another one, perhap a movie about the resurrection of Christ and 12 Apostles establishing an early churches? What do you think? (Would like to see some movies related to the book of Acts...)

Somewhere I read that there is a group of people who are trying to get Mel Gibson to do a movie about St. Francis of Assisi, I don't know how true it is though. Or even if he would do the movie.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
PRINCE OF EGYPT
JOSEPH KING OF DREAMS

Just to name a few. I haven't seen the Passion yet, but when I do it'll be on my list I'm sure

I guess it would have to be "Jesus of Nazareth" for New Testament, and "Joseph" of the Turner Bible movies for the Old Testament.

Anyone ever seen Barabbas? The story of the guy who released instead of Jesus (I'm sure most of you know who he was). It has Jack Palance in it I think and I saw it ages ago, I'm trying to track it down at my local video stores.

Thefijian, twice I've seen parts of Barabbas on tv but I've never seen the whole movie. It looks like a great movie though.

have not watched the ten commandments but i say passion of the christ all the way. ben hur was pretty good but it is old. passion rocks dude!
