Oh my goodness... althouth Guster is not my fav band... they are certainly up there for me. Int he top 5 anyways.
My fav band of all time is... and if you have been around the forum enough you would know its DMB... surprise surprise lol

I gotta disagree with you here - someone can have horrible taste, doesnt mean the music he likes is good.
I agree with Dave - good music is good music. Plain and simple. We all have our different tastes and standards but good music is good music.

I believe that musical quality is objective, but I do not think we really have the means of "measuring" it, except in extreme cases.

OK, I confess, they're all just names U2's played under. The Hype and Feedback were their first two names, The Passengers was when Brian Eno joined them as a full band member on the album Original Soundtracks 1, and The Dalton Brothers was a country act U2 dressed up as to open for themselves at three shows on the Joshua Tree Tour in 1987.
