Hey, I did mention King Of Fighters.

SF imo is just a over hyped series. Neo Geo did 2d fighting much better than Capcom, but who had more advertisments for there games?

This game at the time set record sales, and single handedly kicked off the fighting genre.

You are right thou, if it wasn't for that, it would be over rated. There are better, deeper fighters out there, but they all owe homage to SSF2Turbo.

You are right thou, if it wasn't for that, it would be over rated. There are better, deeper fighters out there, but they all owe homage to SSF2Turbo.

Personally I really think it only got great sales because it was on a affordable system (I wouldn't pay 1k for a neo geo and a game).

It got a hold of casual gamers, too bad Capcom is still trying to draw water from the series.

Like I said, there are better made games. But that one has a special place in the hearts of many gamers.

Like for me Ghost Recon(xbox live) has been the best FPS experience to date. But others are better.
I just love it, because of the team I had on it, it was something really special.

Personally ..I just love.. Mr. Driller, I can't stop playing it. It has become a classic to me.

I think Soul Caliber 1 & 2 blows all other fighters out of the water, but thats 3D.
