Personality: His normal nature is very kind, and caring towards people he loves, but he can be very jugdemental sometimes, and can be very mean towards people he doesn't accept. He's also a bit of a trickster, so tries to be funny sometimes but ends up annoying other people.
Bio: Bertran is Jacque's cousin. His mother's brother (his uncle) is Jacque's father. He despises elves, because of an incident he'd had with them when he was younger, but he tolerates his aunt and accepts his cousin, Jacque becasue he was very close to her and has known her his entire life but recently has drifted away from her. Bertran came along with her family when they came to protect the staff, and he came with the same intentions until he found out that the staff bearer was an elf. Now he's completely against her and had sided secretly with Nairne (already talked with Lessien) and made a plan to bring her down.
