Being single - blessing, joy and challenges ?

Messy, do you have a baby chimpanzee ? So cute. I used to have a cocker spaniel and a cat. One time my ex told me she saw the cat and dog worked as a team. The cat jumped on top of the counter, threw food on the floor to the eager spaniel. Saddest thing of owning pet is the end time. When we were spending the last moment with the spaniel, even she was terminally ill and so weak, she still wagged her little tail and tried to response to our hug. Make me want to cry even recalling my dear 4 legged friend, so loyal and love without condition, that is true love. Now I own 2 red ear turtles in a 75 gallon tank with guppies, cat fishes and algae eater. I happy to say that the turtles, still babies, will outlive me. When I no longer can take care of them, I will let them free. I usually sit for awhile enjoying my aquarium. The fishes and turtles think it is feeding time or get all excited. Well, today is Saturday, quite cold here in VA/MD/DC region. Will take a long walk in the cities, see the shop, breathe in the crispy air and enjoy another day that God has made. I enjoy all this sharing. Chat can get testy sometimes, as I observed. But iron sharpen iron. We will come out better as we encourage each other. Can I ask if we can remember each other in our prayer. Even we know each other by screen name, we are all bro and sis in Christ and I know for sure God will honor our prayer. Please pray for my ex for a full recovery and be free of the breast C (I can not even bring myself to spell out what it is), she had a surgical procedure done a few days ago, early stage. She is doing fine. She is not a believer, neither are my 2 girls or my sister and her family. Please pray for them. Thanks sis and bro

He broke up, within a week he was replaced, that collapsed, month later I had someone else and then He said: Marry Me, time is short, they were marrying and giving into marriage. It's idolatry. It's no sin to marry someone, but you can't fill the void that needs Him with a man and expect him to do what only God can do.

I was thinking along the same line too. So many women said they are happy and content because they are married to Jesus. Jesus is always depicted as this tall, long fair hair, strong and compassionate male, talked gently, full of confidence and assuring.

What female will not have him as their husband ?There is no counter part for men. Women as I heard are more into relationship than physical intimacy, at least hat is what I kept hearing. Men are not. They like something they can feel and touch, very physical.

Jesus can be my best friend. But married to Him, spiritually I can accept but not anything else.

There is nothing sexual about a woman's relationship with Jesus so why should it be different from a man's relationship with him?
Everyone needs a comforter, counselor, provider and guide, and this is what Jesus offers us all irrespective of what gender we are.
If u want a sexual partner(wife) just ask God for one. It's better to marry because marriage will help u satisfy your sexual desires. Praying God sends u a wife soon

I could have not said it better! I can relate to Jesus as being my best friend,as well as my savior. But,on a cold night,when I want to cuddle,I am certainly not thinking of Jesus,as someone that I want to cuddle with.

Everything to do with romantic, I can imagine that a guy doesn't find the idea of marrying Jesus romantic, lol, but God uses the analogy and not only for women. I had such a romantic dream about Him and me on a sail boat, He was the Captain.

When I was 18 I wanted a man, now. So I asked and I asked and I asked: Wen do You send him? Next week or do I have to wait two? I threw the Bible open and asked: within a year? and the tekst said: yes. My mother Always went to a man who had a prophetic gift and I asked her if she could ask him for a Word for me, since I wanted to know when he would come, the man God had for me.
It said: I declare you free in My Love (I had OCD thoughts which immediately were gone after I read that) so you can build on our relationship on earth. This I hope and long for that that will come on the first place for you.
Took me 26 years and 3 relationships to finally get there.

I did hear of a single woman.who just became a christian,who got baptized in a white wedding dress.Because, she said that she was Marrying Jesus.

Both men and women can marry God tho and Jesus is the Son of God. I think the Father is both male and female based on Genesis 1 where it says they are created like Gods image.
