Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect
and
Luk 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
May we who Love God, in faith through Christ..be perfect!
When I say perfect..I mean to have the attitude of excellence, and to bring glory to God/living righteously, by abiding and trusting in Christ.
The truth sets us free. (John 8:35)..the truth is that Christ is once and for all the sin offering and that he is worthy to call master, and to follow him, in all his ways.
As we walk with him..we should become more like him! This is what perfection is to be like Christ..bearing much fruit for his Glory!
Practice abiding in Christ..let Jesus have his way, and he will change you! Desire his glory..it will all be worth it..to hear him say well done my faifthful servant!
