WOW!!! It is wonderful to me to see God moving in my life in such a way! I was called many years ago to be a pastor and to be honest I ran for about 6 years. I believed myself to be so unable to take up this calling.

Two years ago my wife (whom I had someone I do not know speak to me conserning saying I would be a pastor and I would have a wife who was for my help), anyway, my wife and I were moved to california. It was there that I really started to stop running.

I used my jobs as an excuse until God removed them from me with the move. Then slowly I began to accept that God is the one who equips for the call. So in time we moved once more back to the place we both felt called to.

Well...I was leaving it to God as to when His time was and we were looking for a church (There I am again running). Finaly we were at a church listening to the assosiate pastor preaching. The message was right and I enjoied it...but I felt something turning inside of me while listening.

I asked God what it was and as clearly as ever God answered and said "Because those who should now be pastors should not be under another pastor". After service my wife also looked at me (without me telling her this) and told me she needed to talk with me.

We got in the car and she told me how God was dealing with her that morning saying we needed to start a church NOW. So we stepped out. At first we held some small bible studies and now it seems I will be ordained soon.

It is amazing the work of God on the life of one as me who never dreamed of this!

Great News - I am so Pleased for you!
It is true that we do run away from our calling - I know I for one kept saying to God
'Please dont put me through anything I may fail at'
(Im not a risk taker at all lol)

and now I am on the road to discerning my path!

Many Blessings to you and your Wife - The Lord is obviously bestowing his Gifts onto both of you!

(Act 16:4) And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

(Act 17:31) Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(Rom 7:10) And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

(1Co 9:14) Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

(Gal 3:19) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

(Eph 2:10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

(1Ti 2:7) Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

(Heb 5:1) For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

(Heb 8:3) For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

(Heb 9:6) Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

(1Pe 1:20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

(Jud 1:4) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
