Being in The Wilderness

How long have you been in the spiritual wilderness?

I got saved in 2001 (I think). I spent 4 years after that in the wilderness. I dedicated, rededicated, and re-rededicated myself back to God after that. It didn't stick. It wasn't I almost got killed over the summer that I snapped back. I'm not glad for the feeling I got, but I'm thankful because that was what I needed.

I came to the Lord at the end of 1999 out of fear and I have had many ups and downs in those seven years... I had a falling away from God this year, but have just recently come back to Him and I'm so disappointed in myself that I let myself slip away. Currently, I can't get enough of Him!!! And I want to have this kind of relationship with Him forever!!!

I just want also to add a absolutely beautiful song that also makes me never want to lose this relationship...

Once we've tasted of The Splendor of walking with The Lord , any straying on our part , gives us a profound sense of " missing out " , on something distinctly incomparable , something crucially important , and something essentially necessary , for lasting life , enduring peace , and continuing joy .

Which helps us know where we need to be , and why we need to learn how to stay there .
