Please pray for me I am seeing a Christian couple on Saturday they are going to pray with me. I have been having on going issues with mental torment and depression. I am doing all I know how and it does not shift I am not perfect in this though. I have lost heart and feel very alone in this battle. Please pray God gives this couple wisdom how to help me. I cannot go on like this day after day something is wrong. I am wondering if it is demonic because of the nature of the thoughts I have not been involved in occult ever. All I know is I am not coping and so down. Thanks for helping me I will pray for everyone too.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

praying for the Lord to give you the strength to keep going until you experience relief from your feelings of depression. praying for Him to lift you up out of this, heal your heart and give you the peace and joy from Him.

But I'd like to pray for you now. Father, I ask you for God's warrior. May she know how much you fought for her and blessed her even before she was born. May she know she is the apple of your eye, forever loved by you and forever forgiven. God's warrior, the Bible declares, you have the mind of Christ. You are no longer under condemnation. And peace is your heritage in Christ, His peace in you. May His light enlighten your heart and may you rise above this storm you are going through. You are God's beloved, His favored one, and His blessed one. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you are a son or daughter of God no demon can even lift a hair on your head.
I will pray that you will feel the presence of God whenever you feel alone or depressed. Also, know that there are people out there willing to listen to your problems and/or worries and are willing to pray about it. I would love to go on this recovering journey with you! I will be keeping you in my prayers!
p.s. I don't know if this will help BUT whenever I feel hopeless, tired, distressed... I always think about how thankful I should be. The fact that I can breathe, walk on two legs, drink fresh water, LIVE!... then my problems or stressed feelings seem a lot smaller
