Being a christian as an OCD sufferer SUCKS, there is no other way to put it

So I have this weird thing called magical thinking OCD. Its the obsessive belief that God is talking to me through some obsessive thing whatever it may be.

So my OCD has taken this a step further, and now whenever I think a certain thought that my ocd disagrees with ill get a sharp stab of pain somewhere on my skin. And this will happen every time I think this thought. Doesnt matter if its intrusive or purposeful, I WILL GET THE PAIN. I dont know if God would ever convey a point like this.

Thank you for sharing! I have OCD too, so I know how difficult it can be. Have you ever been able to get treatment for your obsessions? Or have you learned anything about effective forms of treatment?
