We have multiple testimonies about the different ways in which children are dying. Mark Arabo was informed by Chaldean Christians that there have been beheadings. Andrew White cites an incident of a 5 year old child being cut in half. Dr Sarah Ahmed who is actually iin Iraq like Andrew White also shares the testimonies of those she meets and says that children are being buried alive. It seems that evil can be creative in how it murders the innocent. Given the public proclamations by ISIS showing intent to kill and their own video productions from Syria and Iraq of beheadings, shootings , crucifixions the stories all have a measure of plausibility to them. You are not a court of law determining the forensic facts you are an Internet spectator mouthing the skepticism of Christianity's enemies in the region and that of journalists whom ISIS did not invite to particular killings. It tells me that a child he baptized and cared for is dead. In the context and taking the remark at face value it sounds like a 5 year old was cut in half by ISIS. But you are right you will probably need to go to Iraq and to Qaraqosh where the child was murdered and do the forensic examination of the murder scene, interview the suspects etc. it is not going to happen. You are not in Iraq , you are not a witness to the events there but you are working through stories of extreme pain and suffering and casting doubt on what is most plausibly the tip of the iceberg of what is happening. There cannot be this much smoke without fire and especially when ISIS have happily confessed on camera to various acts of murder in Syria and in Iraq. Yes at the final analysis we cannot be certain of this or that claims precise reality. Indeed lacking any kind of real justice of reliable police system in the war zone it is possible that noone could give a proper account right now. But we have enough to know the evil of IS. I linked to a Hezbollah Shia site which is pretty much repeating the Christian accounts and trusting its main sources. The Sunni world are pretty much in denial. You know enough to know that something quite serious is going on. Can you honestly say that the Sunni media are accurately and precisely confirming The seriousness of the situation and openly discussing ISIS murders of Christians? We in the West all agree that IS are murdering people. The UN concurs. At this time the precise details of each murder account remains to be clarified. Many of these murders will however never be authenticated. But the victims are still dead.
