• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Yay! That is amazing news, just keep it up. Know that God is for you and never against you and nothing makes him feel better than seeing you recover. He loves you so much and sends his love to you every second you are awake. You are his precious princess. I know how hard it can be, for I am an anorexic in recovery too, but just keep in mind God never condemns you and he wants so badly for you to get better, because you are his treasured child. I am so happy for you and I will definitely say a prayer for you. Lots of love to you. Know you are loved. :)

I'm so happy for you! I'd like to thank God for helping me overcome my eating disorder as well (I was at the verge of anorexia). Without having to go to a clinic, or even letting my family find out what I was going through, he nourished my mind and body, and now I've gained very healthy weight. I'm still struggling because my periods haven't come back, but my skin and overall my whole body is much better.

Now one of the happiest moments of my day is having a nice boal of oatmeal, chocolate, and strawberries for breakfast. ^_^ it's the little things that God allows us to enjoy everyday...

If you ever feel like you're stepping back to anorexia, maybe I could help :) remember that we are the Temple of the Spirit.
