Hello everyone,
There's this site i visit sometimes as it posts some articles about false priests, people who release satanic music and just a number of things, worth checking out before you continue reading on.
What they believe:
I believe this site IS genuine Christian as it covers many different topics on there site which as a 19 year old christian, i enjoy what they are writing about because it helps open my eyes more and build my faith stronger against those who are trying to corrupt!..
Question is?
Is this site for Christians, or for someone who is interested in the evils of this worlds who wish to 'wake up' to the things we hear and see in mainstream media, which was like me before i started to believe..
There's an article on there which talks about how Benny Hinn is a corrupted preacher, my dad (whom believes also, maybe deceived by Benny Hinn) says about how great he is as he 'traveled the world spreading the gospel to communities who don't have that source, he supposedly healed people' etc....
I refuse to watch this man even though my dad says he's done good because after reading that post, he just seemed to be out for money or something.
Would like someone opinion of this man one who has seen what he does, and not believed with their heart and soul because it just doesn't seem right or his intentions may seem shady.
Thank you and have a blessed day
Hello everyone,
There's this site i visit sometimes as it posts some articles about false priests, people who release satanic music and just a number of things, worth checking out before you continue reading on.
What they believe:
What is your religion?
Christian.
What denomination are you?
Although we do not believe denominations are required by the Bible, we attend a Fundamental Baptist Church and thus identify as Fundamental Baptists. Denominations are good in that they are helpful in identifying what your churchs beliefs are generally. But at the end of the day, we are Bible-believing Christians.
Do you take the Bible literally?
Yes. Except where things are intended as metaphor, analogy, symbolism, etc. (i.e., Jesus saying I am the bread of life). Otherwise I believe that God says what He means and means what He says.
Do You Follow a Creed?
No. It is our firm belief that the Bible is the true creed and guidance for Christians. It is our Statement of Faith as we submit to its authority wholly. However, it is informative to address questions to give a sense of our specific theology so hence this page.
So you believe in all of the miracles of the Bible? Like Jesus actually walking on water or raising people from the dead?
Yes.
Do you believe in the literal resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to a physical, glorified body?
Yes.
Do you believe believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven?
Yes (see John 14:6)
What kind of Bible do you read?
King James Version.
Do you ever use any other kinds of Bibles?
Yes, I also use the 1599 Geneva Bible, Brentons Septuagint and Greek Inter-linear New Testament.
Do you believe in the Trinity (God the Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit)?
Yes. See 1 John 5:7
Do you believe in a literal Heaven and Hell?
Yes.
Do you believe in the Rapture?
Absolutely.
Are you pretrib, postrib, prewrath, etc?
I do not believe any of the tradition models on the rapture are entirely correct. But I will be doing a blog soon on exactly where I think the Rapture occurs in the Bible. Stay tuned!
Are you a Calvinist?
No.
Are you affiliated with _________ group?
The following are groups that we are NOT connected to in any form or fashion:
Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovahs Witness, Mormon Church, Reformed, Joels Army, Hebrew Roots Movement, Church of Christ, Signs and Wonders, Pentecostal, Emergent, Purpose-Driven,
Do you believe in the 7 literal days of Creation as described in Genesis?
Yes.
So how do you account for scientific factors like geological record, stars being light years away, etc.?
The Bible never states the age of the Earth. We are only told it was created in the beginning. There is a part of the Biblical history the predates humanity on Earth. While we are not given lots of details on it, there were clearly things happening before God created humanity (i.e., Angels singing and rejoicing in Gods presence at the time the Earth is created, and thus predating the Creation Week of Genesis 1 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? ..When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38).
