Hello everyone

I wanted to remind everyone of the Guidelines for Posting in EC because we're beginning to see a number of issues, the most common being:
  • Non-Christians (other than the Original Poster) posting in other people's threads
  • Side-bar discussions/debates that don't involve the OP in their own thread
  • Christians starting threads of their own.
By way of reminder then, Exploring Christianity is a forum specifically created for the singular purpose of giving non-Christians an opportunity to ask Christians about questions they have regarding the Christian faith.

Non-Christians are welcome - and encouraged to participate here! But the sole proviso is that you start your own thread, with your own question. Given the purpose and format of EC, it's not permissible to post in someone else's thread here.

Christians who wish to address the OP's question are equally encouraged to do so - but YOU MUST ADDRESS THE OP with your responses. If you have issues with another member's response, you need to take it elsewhere and not debate it in the OP's thread. Such "sidebar" discussions are outside the format of this forum and are in fact impolite inasmuch as such discussions do not involve the OP. This is their topic so we would ask everyone to respect that.

Thank you...and now back to our regularly scheduled programming :)
