Before you freak out, rationalize

I was thinking of purchasing a guitar amp, but then I read the word 'Holy Ghost' from a previous post. Then the intrusive thought of 'evil' popped up. So what do I do? Rationalize.

- The guitar amp I thought about purchasing has no association to the word 'Holy Ghost'. Furthermore, the guitar amp is not associated to the intrusive thought or word 'evil'.
- Reading the word 'Holy Ghost' is not wrong in any way.
- I believe that God knows the condition of my heart and that I am not trying to associate the word 'evil' to the word 'Holy Ghost'. Instead, the intrusive thought that popped up was not from me, but OCD.
- God knows I do not ever want to do anything unforgivable
- God knows me more than I know myself

So really, there is no harm in purchasing a guitar amp. It is simply a tool for music.
