Titus 1 " in hope of eternal life , wich GOD that cannot lie, promised before the world began"

What means that ? any idea ?

Maybe we can linked that with :

Romans 8: 29-30 he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren

Ephesians 1:who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ ,according he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world .

Although I have no Scripture to back up what I am going to say (off the top of my mind), all souls were created before the universe was created. And with all the pre-destinating going on (heh), God's crazily huge plan began...

I'm sure you know about the 300+ prophecies about Jesus? That was all planned out.

So really, all of this has been known before the earth was created.

In hope of eternal life - In expectation of a state of being and well being which should last through eternity, when time should be no more. This includes, not only the salvation of the soul and its eternal beatification, but also the resurrection of the body. This was a point but ill understood, and not very clearly revealed, under the Mosaic law; but it was fully revealed under the Gospel, and the doctrine illustrated by the resurrection and ascension of Christ.

Which God, that cannot lie, promised - We have often seen that the phrase, the foundation of the world, means the Jewish economy, and, before the foundation of the world, the times antecedent to the giving of the law. This is evidently the meaning here. See 2Ti_1:9-11.

Supposing the word αιωνιων in this verse to signify eternal, says Dr. Macknight, the literal translation of προ χρονων αιωνιων would be, before eternal times; but that being a contradiction in terms, our translators, contrary to the propriety of the Greek language, have rendered it before the world began, as Mr. Locke observes on Rom_16:25. The true literal translation is before the secular times, referring us to the Jewish jubilees, by which times were computed among the Hebrews, as among the Gentiles they were computed by generations of men. Hence, Col_1:26, The mystery which was kept hid απο των αιωνων και απο των γενεων, from the ages and from the generations, signifies the mystery which was kept hid from the Jews and from the Gentiles.

I believe in Foreknowledge over pre-destination

I have read Clément of Roma ( Not to be confused with Clément of Alexendria).
The Catholic's Church consider him like one of the very first Pope.

In a txt, Clément clearly speak about Paul Teaching ,and the CHURCH created before the Universe and the SUN.

And say that the final Church was the return to primal Church.

Honestly, I don't know what the doctrine of pre-destination says, but it occurs to me that everything was planned before it all started, so to speak. Predestination is a word that describes it best, I find.
