I watched Stargate up until I actually had to start doing schoolwork instead of watching the telly. I still hold that the original pilot movie was the best. But I dont remember what happened much with that anymore.

*Pulls up a chair and a t.v appears matrix style*

Hope you dont' mind my interjecting here...but the original Stargate movie really wasn't as good as the series. And don't get me wrong...it pains me to say that. It just should have been better.

I totally agree, I much prefer the series, mind they have longer to develop the characters.

And the storyline. The movie created so many questions for me. Not that I mind that in a movie, I actually like movies that continue to make me think for awhile. But the series has so much more of an evolved story line. I like the whole idea of it. It's just very cool. Wish it was on prime time television here. It's only on the Sci Fi chanel...and I don't think it's on regularly scheduled times. Hard to follow a series if you're not exactly sure when it will be on.

You don't need to beg for blessings, You can get a job and earn them. (see announcements) And you can now invest those blessings in the bank and earn a little from that too. (very cool)

It's true. You can only take your characters to heaven. Everything else doesn't matter. Sometimes peoples' characters are the last thing they worry about and that's sad. So.... why do we waste so much of our time on things that won't last us? That is a very good question.
