hey John3:16, After we become saved we only have 1 battle to fight ourselves And its hard to fight ourselves. My preacher had a sermon last noght and stated that problems like this is simply the inner man (or women) fighting with the outer man. Or the spirit fighting with the flesh. I see your username is john 3v16 so here is a sugestion write on a peice of paper ...

Stick the paper to your door or somewere you can easilly see it ... It may just help you keep on track

You are no worse than anyone here, maybe some of us did not do the same things as you, so I'm not going to judge you either.

But as far as knowing scripture; a lot of people have come out of porn having been sunday school teachers, seminary students or even preachers so they "knew" the bible too. The sad and self deception of this whole mess is a lot of what we learned has not been applied in our lives. I've recently been delivered from m and fantasy and I can tell you, the more we focus on what Jesus actually died for (all of sin) the more thankful and grateful we become. We can't overcome anything in our power and strength. But God's grace IS SUFFICIENT for any and every sinful situation. I know how awful it feels, believe me. But as I really study to know Jesus and appreciate His example more, it gives me the strenght I need.

Goliwog: that is excellent advice... IS as good as done- I am putting it up on the bottom of my computer screen.... BEcause this is where I sin the most. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

mr.Cheese: What am I going to do? Pray more, resist the urge by avoidance of late night computer use... and boredom use...... Do what was suggested by goliwog.. that is an awsome idea... Look to my husband for what perhaps is causing me to do this, which is lonliness and feeling unattractive and looking elsewhere for reassurance.

Jan: Thank you. I realize the scripture can be memorized upside and backwards and still live a sinful life... I dont know all the scripture.. I think mainly what I didn't want was to read a bunch of scripture proving what I was doing was wrong.. when I already know that and cannot look in the mirror as it is. But today I did.. I stood there and I said to myself "what are you doing? what are you going to do? Why?"... and I smiled and had one of the best days I've had in a long time after answering those questions for myself...

Thank you guys for not judging me. Its not something I will be able to just drop... But I will do whatever it takes....

But again- here I am struggling.. I just finished showing numerous pix of my body to a complete stranger- all for him to say " wow, you are beautiful," and then it goes on to more explicit things.... WHY LORD>> WHY...???????????????? I just cant figure this out-- the emotional and phsyical dammage done in my child hood is going to haunt me forever... I didn't get this way until the last while.. but i do know I have struggled my entire life with things like this...

Pray for me... please.

I know I am young but there is something my youth pastor has insteeled in me in the six months that he has been around for me. Its that if we hide God's word in our heart then we have the material needed to fight the Devil.

The devil has three goals they are :steal kill and destroy

When these thoughts become strong read Phillipians 4:13 also I would like for you to read James 1 the whole chapter. Read it over and over if you need too

I know you said you didn't need scripture but I think it will help you get out... its helped me get away from cyber sex and much more. Also finding an accountability partner helps. Find a woman of the same age or older then you in your church and start holding each other accountable. Make sure it is someone you really trust. Sharing everything that goes on with your life is difficult but someone there to help you is a big thing and a big step in the right direction.

Also I want you to know that I do not judge. We are all sinners Romans tells us "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God"

I am praying for you and maybe parental controls on your Comp will help.
