Since we will be transfigured to the perfect image of Christ, my understanding is that we will all have similar glorified bodies, though our facial features might differ a bit, as people from every nation and tribe. And we will all be clothed in white, which is of Christ. Our present physical form doesn’t determine our eternal form. We will no longer be divided by outward appearances. We do not age. We won't grow tired. We do not hunger or thirst, physically. We eat for pleasure and God’s glory. There won’t be any decay, disorder, sewage, sweat, or any biofluids. Everything is made perfect and holy. Jesus asking for something to eat after His resurrection doesn’t mean He was hungry. If He was hungry, He could eat without having to ask anyone for food. He asked them if they had something to eat that He may commune with them, that they may know He is really alive and resurrected since they were in disbelief and bewildered. So He reminded them of the things He spoke of. He ate with them. Showed His wounds. And they recognized Him by His acts and words.
The kingdom of heaven is likened unto little children and angels. Children are likened unto angels. Angels are not male or female in the way that adult humans understand and experience gender. You can hardly differentiate a 06-year-old boy from a 06-year-old girl just by looking at their body and more so if they are clothed in similar outfits. They don’t grow beards and breasts at that age. However, they are still able to experience love for one another and romantic love for them has nothing to do with sex, not that it's devoid of any physical touch. It is expressed by a desire to be together. Nothing else matters. They have it all just by being together. Physical touch if any is not intentional but additional and just is. It is without any lust. It’s not hormonal to fluctuate. It goes beyond their physical feelings and needs. They simply love and feel loved if they are together. Love so pure it doesn’t necessitate a marriage covenant in their minds. Love so perfect without any fear. Love so free and sure. Love that knows no end and sees no wrongs. Love so simple. It is enough. It is all. Freedom to just be. First love it is. That’s when life began. Everything else is there and taken care of. There are no hidden agendas nor hurting each other. But love is. They don’t see nor judge by the physical body systems. They see others as they see themselves, display pure affections, and treat others as they want to be treated. They are united in their mind and are one in spirit. They don't see differences but oneness and wholesomeness in everything. Love that goes beyond the flesh, time, and space is how we truly become one, by a love that's rooted in God's love. That's how children know God is.
Our eternal nature is similar. Not that we will be like kids without knowledge. Jesus said we cannot enter His kingdom unless we become like little children. This is how Jesus loves. Spiritual union. That’s true love and marriage. Most couples are only joined in their flesh yet are not really joined together. That’s lust, lack of self-control, and deception. We have lost the real meaning and purpose of marriage. Thereby, we have also lost the meaning of sexuality, love, and romance. Our childhood has been stolen with false and fake shadows. Then we aged. We do not consider the whole counsel of God as revealed in Christ. We do not eat the pure Word of God. We got the metaphor in reverse since the Truth cannot be applied to our present. Hence all the confusion and division. We couldn’t think like children where we ought to. We are adults and we know too much about love. We think we have eyes and we can see. We think we know what is good and bad, and what we want. We are looking for Him outside and things apart from Him. In absorbing the outer, we are losing our inner self where He has always been. We know who God is more than we know ourselves. We have our Bibles and books. We won't let Him come in and introduce Himself. We tell God who we are and who He is. Our eyes are fooling our minds and our minds are fooling our hearts. But those without eyes are not blind. Thus, we need to be born again and become like little children. That's our real person, the image of God, Christ with us through and for whom all things were made.
Our present is a passing shadow, but our eternal future is a reality. The bride of Christ won’t be a symbol in eternity, but our very truth and identity. All things are provided in the new creation. There won’t be any need for hidden agendas and hurting another. Our souls are naked as they reflect nothing but Christ. A marriage covenant by letter has no meaning with a love like that where all creation and the land is sancitfied, reconciled and vindicated. Your ‘yes’ to Christ is a ‘yes’ to His people. We have already become His and taken. He has already joined us together and we all have become one being in Him, just as the Father, Holy Spirit, and the Son.
Love Never Ends. Togetherness is Loving. Love is You and Me because we are His, in His image. And where there are two or more joined in His name, there He is also. Where He is, there we will also be. Because Love Is.
