  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Based on the level of Beaver Creek from Halo2.

One pitch dark night at Beaver Creek,
I heard a twig go snap.
That was a sign a foe was near,
And I was in a trap.

Now when I heard that twig go snap,
I found me a hollow log.
I knew they'd never find me there,
Besides, there was a fog.

Once inside that hollow log,
I heard their feet go by.
Must have been a hundred brutes,
While I was only I.

They pitched their camp around that log,
And then they went to sleep.
Just no chance for my escape,
Those brutes would here me creep.

Now there was mouse inside that log,
And that mouse began to sqeak.
That old brute gave that log a kick,
And he rolled it in the crick.

Now I climbed outside, and I swam ashore,
Thus I got away.
Those Covenant never saw me once,
And that's why I'm here today.
