You look in the mirror,
Filled with disgust,
Everytime you lay eyes on yourself,
You want it to end,
You feel so lonely,
And so lost,
Just because you aren't perfect,
You say you aren't beautiful,
Or you aren't skinny enough,
Or your hair is too curly,
Or you are just not good enough,
You see yourself this way,
As if the universe,
Looks at you and laughs,
But why do you say this?
I know you have fallen,
For the pressures,
Of being a girl,
That everything has to be perfect or you are awful,
That's the lie you've been taught by Hollywood,
You look at magazines,
With tears growing in your eyes,
You see the models,
And nearly give up,
Right there,
because you aren't them,
That's what you've been taught,
That to be beautiful you have to be skinny, have a great smile or just be popular,
You have fallen to that,
Then you consider the turth,
That your heart is what matters,
Then you feel even worse,
That you can't realize the truth,
But dear we all have this,
We all fall under the curse,
We all consider that we arne't beautiful enough,
When I look in the mirror at you,
I see joy,
I see beauty,
That's not skin -deep,
Don't feel you aren't good enough,
Or you are just all around ugly,
Because you aren't,
You are beautiful inside and out.
Filled with disgust,
Everytime you lay eyes on yourself,

You feel so lonely,
