I call my wife beautiful all the time. Mind you she didn't start out feeling she was. Like alot of women she never thinks she was beautiful enough. But now she feels more beautiful and she know I meant it when I say it. As for hot. Well I tell her that to once and awhile. But its usually in intimate moments. And that is because as stated hot usually refers to sexual terms.

However I could say I think my wife is beautifully hot too.

Nope. Actually most men like someone who is in the US size 8-12 range. It's women perpetuating the skinny ideal.
