This is a work in progress and it sounded really cheesy to me... but here goes
I lay on my back
Staring up at the endless blue sky
The ground ripples in waves
Of soft green blades
The birds float on the soft,
Teasing breeze.
I fold my arms behind my head
The sun begins to sink
Beyond the horizon.
I stand up to see the beautiful sight
The colors mix together
Like an artists' work
Mixing together
To make all the sky
A painting.
Red, yellow, orange and pink
All blend together
To make a sunset.
And as I stand there
And watch the sun slowly fall,
I can't help but praise you, Lord
For such a beautiful world.
The animals bow
At the sound of your voice
The trees and ground,
They tremble at your name.
You are the Creator of one and all
The Almighty Savior of our souls
I stand there still,
In the last flickers of light
Soon, the sun is gone
And the Moon is in its place.
And once again, God,
I am wrapped up in your Love
In your care, in your masterpiece
As the beginnings of little white balls
In the sky come out,
I smile and think.
Thank you Lord.
For such a beautiful place.

I love it. It sounds really good, and you are pretty good at writing poems. I really did enjoy reading it. I mean, don't ever underestimate the Lord's gifts upon your life.
I like it!
