Hello, my name is Benjamin and I have been addicted to one drug or another most of my adult life. I am 26 years old and have two years clean from Heroin and other drugs!
Now, if you are like me and struggled with addiction you most likely have a hard time dealing with problems and people in your life. I find myself dealing and struggling with resentment and anger EVERYDAY of my life! But with the LORD I am able to refrain from acts of violence, relapse, or other self-destructive actions.
!!!
If you are truely not of this world, and find yourself facing these problems on a daily basis I reccomend you do what I do. Listen to to Beatles song "Let it be" and live your life thinking like this. By "letting it be" you will skate through without causing yourself more harm! It may not make sense to you, or to 'humanly man' but God knows best!! Just let the LORD do his thing and continue with your life. Remain fervant in prayer, study scripture, and continue in fellowship with other Christians! Do not give up because you feel overwhelmed or conquered by the wiles of the devil!!
And if this has helped a SINGLE person in recovery who has the same daily struggles as I do than the purpose of this post was fulfilled!
Have a wonderful day! And one day at a time ladies and gents!
