Thanks for the encouraging website, Robert. But the title got me to thinking: Should a disciple of Christ really be focusing on being good to him or herself?

Just wondering, wanting to hear some opinions on this question....

While one shouldn't be self centered by any means, I'm beginning to believe that it's important to show concern for one's own well being. I mean if we're all trodding around defeated every single day without an ounce of joy in our bones, then something's out of sync, wouldn't you say? It's really hard, impossible even, to be a witness when you're always down and questioning the point of life.
