God warns us that those who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. The following is what He has strongly put on my heart this morning and I hope it encourages you just as much as it does me.
No matter what we go through, no matter how great tests/trials/persecutions are and even if they were to last every day for the rest of our lives, God's grace is always always always sufficient for us and His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses.
When you are being peresecuted, be encouraged to remember and mediate on Isaiah 52:13-14 - 53:1-12. Jesus has suffered more than any man could ever go through and endure. But guess what beloved, He has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and the victory that overcomes the world is our genuine solid faith in Him (1 John 5:4-5).
Therefore, we don't need to be sad, become slack/lethargic, nor give up but instead to rejoice and give thanks unto the Lord! No matter what satan tries to do and even if he's throwing everything at you plus the kitchen sink, he aint big and bad enough to overpower God's grace! And what God allows you to go through for your good, He also able to carry you through it, for He always leads His people in triumph in Christ Jesus. Don't worry nor stress over anything and don't let that devil distract you with stuff. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Be encouraged and don't you ever give up nor compromise the love the truth for anyone or anything. Stay in the good fight of faith.
PS - You know what else is so great? Power always and forever will belong to God.
